Advice to Future Brides....

HIRE A WEDDING COORDINATOR TO DO EVERYTHING! lol Planning a wedding is very stressful.  I cannot wait for the outcome...but the journey to it is a pain! I can't believe that it is in a little over 40 days.  We have been dating for 6 years and marriage was always "a LONG ways away." It is here now...do I know how to be a wife? lol We will see!

Im Back!

Ok, so I have not posted since July 21st! I have been so busy though.  Since my last post I have started internship, discovered my love for those crazy 5 year olds (even when they act totally worse when my supervisor is observing me) and taken engagement pictures.  There is probably more, I just can't remember! I wish I had more time to spend on this blog stuff I am just so busy.  What in the world was I thinking when I planned my wedding right in the middle of internship? I hope everyone is doing good. Registry

I registered for dishes and serving pieces down at Town and Country florist.  I work next door and one of my friends works there so it was fun to go ahead and pick out what I liked.  I picked this pattern because it is so fun and I love the colors and I have always wanted square plates.

The honeymoon is booked! We are flying out the morning after the wedding straight to Cancun! We found a beautiful all inclusive resort right on the ocean.  I have already ordered lots of cute new swimsuits and dresses to wear while we are there.  We are staying 3nights (4days) which will put us back Christmas eve night.

Cute Kicks!

I went shopping last week (one of my favorite things to do!!) and found these shoes.  I fell in love with them and just had to have them for my wedding.  I think they will look great with my gown and not be the same ole ordinary wedding shoes!

Wedding Photographer

Another thing down I took care of a while back was getting the wedding photographer.  We chose Matt Terry.  I love how modern and stylish his work is.  Also, I worked with Amber (his wife) for a while at the Gift Shaker.  She is such a fun person!  We are really excited about all the great memories we will have from our wedding.  Here is the link to his site, go check it out!

Here are the Bridesmaid dresses! Two will wear the first dress and the other 2 will wear the second dress.  The strapless dress will be in a bronze color and the other one will be in a latte color.  They are SO cute in person and will look great with gold heels.

First Post!

Hi! I am new to the blog world and have discovered that it is so fun! I have planned to use this blog  to keep everyone updated on my wedding plans and have it as sort of a countdown to the BIG DAY. So, even though I have been engaged for a while this first post will be a picture of me with my engagement ring since that was the first step in this big process. I know I look very excited in the picture but I have to admit I was very suprised because we had been dating 5 years before I finally got the bling!
